The 2006 was not cheap back then but compared to the price of current vintages it was an absolute steal! Winemaker John Simes signed the bottle and we were sorry to see it go but it was time to drink up. Polished, sleek and very well put together! Black as pitch, red fruit and plums with a lovely whiff of violets, the palate was redolent with black fruit flavours and silky smooth tannin. A lovely Bordeaux blend from the sunny Okanagan! — 2 years ago
Tasty is an understatement! Very expressive with fresh floral notes, citrus and a hint of slate on the nose. The palate is loaded with juicy, ripe fruit balanced perfectly with a cut of zippy acidity! — 2 years ago
Godello, sounds like a B grade giant lizard nibbling on the outskirts of Tokyo! Interesting Spanish white-aromatic and very dry. Prefer Albariño! — 2 years ago
Tasty GSM blend from the south of France. Full-bodied and silky smooth with blackberry, plum and toasty oak nuances. Nicely balanced with soft tannins! — 2 years ago
Layered and complex with light peach, citrus and just the right amount of toasty oak on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with a rich creamy texture! — 2 years ago
Love this wine! It’s not Pieropan but it’s also ten bucks less. Notes of melon and orange zest. Medium bodies with zippy acidity and a slight oiliness. Enjoyed with a bucket of union bay oysters on the half shell. No complaints here! — 2 years ago
