Cedar, green peppers, wild blackberry. Good, but I expect more when I am paying this much doe...a deer, a female deer. Sorry about that. — 8 years ago
I am drinking #7 and I only have one bottle left of 7,8,&9. Dang! My wife says the first thing she gets is black cherries and she is extremely happy. That is what it is all about. Happy wife, happy life! Keep pouring great wine like this. Life is way too short to drink cheap wine. — 9 years ago
We had ripe Bing cherries over the holiday and they seem to be in this wine along with dark chocolate and a long finish. Absolutely delicious. I am smoking a Wagyu flat iron steak over oak tonight, flavored with fresh ground pepper and expresso salt. The wine should be a star. — 8 years ago
This is one of the best wines we have enjoyed with a bone in rib eye smoked over oak wood on my Primo smoker. I am getting rounded berries that stand proudly next to that steak. Some herbs, maybe sage, but it's hard to tell over the oaked smoked rib eye. All I can tell you is it was a great pairing! Enjoy this Sonoma treat!

The 07 comes out of the bottle with rich, elegant, and balanced dark berries. The tannins coat your mouth leaving a delicious taste of cedar and a very slight hint of powdered sugar. I decanted the bottle and look forward to enjoying the changing characteristics of this red blend tonight. — 9 years ago
A balance of fruit and spice. I am getting a blend of cherry and blackberry with a touch of white pepper on the side of my tongue. A nice representation of a cooler climate cab. — 8 years ago
No complaints here. 2005 is perfection. With Tuscan steaks it is ...delectable. It is so balanced with blueberries, blackberries, spice, cocoa, vanilla all working together to make for great drinking with or without food. I am a happy camper. — 8 years ago
This one makes me me want a lightly smoked porterhouse to eat with it. Deliciously firm in the mouth with notes of berries, blackberry jam, cedar, and oak. Love it. — 9 years ago
A great beginning to a romantic dinner of calamari and sea bass with my bride. — 9 years ago

A beautiful way to begin our 20th anniversary. Very fine bubbles, buttered wheat bread, and a note of apple. My last bottle of 1999 and it is ready to drink now. — 8 years ago
