Amazing nose - dried apricot, sharp lemon acidity, kumquat, pomelo Marmelade, candied Mandarine peel, golden raisins. Amazing. Could smell this forever.
On the palate this shows amazing balance. High sweetness and high acidity with brilliant drinkability and freshness. Great precision and energy. This is soo good!! — 4 years ago

Switching gears and changing lanes. New bathroom done!
We are a touch surprised by this example.. Vegetal notes on the nose transition to the palate. Nice weight and texture on the mid-palate, with perfect acidity. Notes of coffee, autumn leaves and brown sugar, but not sweet on the finish. Slight meaty note completes a good but not great example.

My all time favorite!
Dried cherries, wilted flowers, very Barolo-esque - intriguing, engaging.
Drinking beautifully, with juicy yet firm tannins, succulent cherries, so balanced and drinkable. Great depth & character.

Spotlessly made in this state of the art facility. Was told last year when I tried to schedule a visit they charge everyone an “experience” fee, which is non-refundable, and is charged regardless of how much wine is purchased…I passed. Too bad, I enjoy their wines.

@Shay A I have more recently been selecting wineries offering food&wine combo pairings for visits, so not expecting a refund.....though, this one was basically just a tasting (included a small meat/cheese plate) and yes there was no tasting fee discount for the wines I purchased.

We tasted nine Kosta Browne Pinots from 2005-2013, all from the Keefer Ranch vineyard. The 2013 definitely tasted youthful, even slightly tannic. Got better in the glass in time. #7 — 5 years ago

My first of 3 bottles of Little Wine #7 Blackberry, plummy, Bracken, red florals. Medium plus bodied palate - unmistakably from old vine Barossa Shiraz. Grainy (but silky) persistent tannins. After a couple of hours - smoked meats. Went from red and black berry fruits to much more savoury on the palate. Probably the best Little Wine so far. A blend of 4 vintages - 2017 (43%), 2016 (38%), 2015 (15%), and 2012 (4%). — 5 years ago

Agreed Shay. He certainly has some old vine material to work with and his prices therefore are quite reasonable I think notwithstanding the freight you guys pay for freight to the USA.

Brilliantly fresh & vibrant, with crunchy red fruit, slate minerality and great flow.
Light footed yet with huge character, amazing flow, depth & energtic tension. Firm, polished, juicy tannins.
So juicy, so drinkable. Pure red fruit essence with a more sophisticated character at the same time. Love the spicy finish!
