At 14% alcohol and a medium to medium plus cherry color this is a big #burgundy wine. Gevrey is always a little bit bigger than other villages, but this wine in particular and especially side-by-side with the Savigny-Les-Beaune seems particularly ripe and rich. #beaujolaislatignie this is the first time I’ve tried a Latignie appellation wine. 100% #Gamay I’m really impressed with how well it is still tasting. #handharvested it’s 14.5% and it really resembles Garnacha blind. This is a theme now with me, I think blind, (if not made in 100% carbonic) Gamay and Garnacha can seem quite similar. Especially the Beaujolais Cru. — a day ago

A little bit of reduction on the nose and on the finish. On the nose spicy floral typical northern Rhône Syrah aromas plus a rubber or latex touch. On the palate a little hollow on the mid palate but in a way more quaffable and smoother that way. Medium tannins and a medium+ finish with a dried roses and light geranium touch. As you all know one of the three#valpolicella grapes. #corvina this one is only 13% alcohol. It’s clean it’s aromatic. It’s lightly passified/dried and you can taste that soft tannin, and that balsamic beautiful texture and flavor that goes great with Italian food and charcuterie, and it only cost me two euros. Ridiculously cheap.  — 6 days ago
