A different quality of fruit, a lot of charred and rasinated notes, a decent amount of acidity. Like grenache and gamay had a baby. Some savory flavors, like bark and musty dirt, but more in the over ripe fruit camp, with a touch of smoke — 4 years ago
Extremely fresh and vivacious, more so than expected based on its age. The orchard fruit nose paves way for the citrusy mid palate and is rounded out by the touch of tropical fruit. There is also a gentle touch of yellow and white flowers making this a fantastic option for new world Viognier. — 4 years ago
Nice and fresh, medium bodied, halfway between chablis and albarino, its got a salty citrus tang, followed by underripe stone and orchard fruits like white peach and yellow pear. Its round but bright, subtle yet expressive. A ton of florality (mostly white flowers and pollen) and just a hint of spearmint. — 4 years ago
Amazing value, theres a lot going on. Its floral and savory on the nose, and on the palate it has a bright soul, with a cheesy mid-palate that showcases the acidity at the extremities, like a slice of yellow apple with brie. After some time it becomes more waxy. A lingering finish of honeysuckle rounds it out. Wow — 4 years ago
Every iteration of berry; black, blue, and red; tart, ripe, and jammy. The fruit is underlined by a slight herbaceous note of fresh mint. A bit too raisinated, but more like craisins. Could use a bit more acid to balance the overripeness, however it is a great example of southern rhone blends in the new world. — 4 years ago
Absolutely stunning nose, classically riesling. Bright, zippy, fresh, and every other adjective to describe the vivacity of this taught and angular juice. Tons of citrus washing over the mineral backbone like a tsunami, this wine is extremely expressive and approachable, even if you dont like riesling because its “too sweet”. This wine will change your perception tout suite. Its fully dry and is fantastic with food ( currently enjoying it with some rouge creamery oregon organic blue cheese, [voted best cheese in the world in 2019!] value wise, I dont think it gets better than this, this wine will continue to be amazing in 10-20 years, hopefully some of it lasts until then — 4 years ago
Fresh, bright, and slightly savory, this wine starts off all red berries and bing cherry, but as you delve deeper you realize theres much more going on. There is a bit more fruit, (pears, white peach, and yellow apple) and a bit of bitterness, (pollen, almond pith, and honeysuckle). There is a creamy mousse and a touch of sourdough rounding out this everyday sparker. — 4 years ago
Deep golden color, slight oxidative notes come across as crushed hazelnuts. Quite a bit of oak influence up front, but very well integrated into the wine. The oak notes; toffee, salty caramel corn, and vanilla bean, are refreshed by the tart acidity, and welcome flavors of greek yogurt, lemon curd, and green apple. Excellent value for an aged white burgundy, and very well made. — 4 years ago

A floral forward nose leads to over ripe citrus and under ripe tropical fruit. As it opens up it shows heft and complexity in terms of parmesan rind and white peach fuzz. Just a bit of white mushroom rounds out this exquisitely expressive example of pinot gris from the infamous winery that brought the grape to the states. — 4 years ago
