Recommended to me by our waiter at The Palm Restaurant. Beautiful, aromatic, balanced. Lots of fruit (dark berries) on the nose. Supple on the front of the palate but opens up nicely with intense flavors of blackberry, black cherry and licorice. Finishing with nice tobacco and espresso notes, and smooth tannins. — 7 years ago
Excellent Sonoma Cabernet! I really enjoyed this Cab. It hit me with this beautiful aroma. Blackberry, black currant, and plum to the taste. Sultry and smooth, with a great finish. I had the pleasure to enjoy this wine while making my marinara sauce and when paired with the sauce I get this surprising and intense sweetness that was pleasant to the palate. — 7 years ago
What a great surprise with this wine and what a joy to drink it was. A nose full of vanilla, plum and tobacco... followed by tons of fruit, blackberries, cassis balanced by beautifully integrated lavish oak notes. A bold, complex, smooth and silky finish that just leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to open my next bottle. — 6 years ago
What a beautiful Cab. I let if breathe for about two hours and it softened quite nicely. Full bodied with hints of tobacco, plum and blackberry jam. Robust yet a velvety smooth full bodied finish makes this wine just a joy to drink. — 7 years ago
Excellent, elegant, aromatic! Well balanced with a fruity bouquet. Smooth and supple gave me hints of cherries, vanilla, berries and of course Oak with a beautiful long finish. — 7 years ago
For $27 this is quite the wine! Wow, what depth! Dark and rich with long beautiful legs. Hints of dark cherry, cocoa, cloves and eucalyptus. Taste of Blackberry, oak, dark chocolate, mint, and mocha. This is a very well balanced, deep, and multi-dimensional wine with nice dry finish. — 6 years ago
Bold, fruity, medium bodied, some earthy notes, soft tannins, and a nice dry finish very typical of Nebbiolo wines! I thoroughly enjoyed this wine! — 7 years ago

Nipozzano!!!!! The 2012 Nipozzano #chianti Riserva has to be probably my favorite Chianti. The product of a cold wet winter and spring followed but a dry hot summer... this wine has a nice ruby color. With a welcoming floral and fruity bouquet. Raspberry, licorice and cherry are followed by sweet notes of ripe juicy strawberries and plum. The finish is long, fruity with some floral notes and a slight hint of spice... maybe pepper?
I have to say it again, I just love this wine!!!! — 6 years ago
