Pears and stone on a citrusy nose. Sweet pears and apples, stone and lemon zest on fruity attack. Finish doesn’t change much and is relatively short. Good simple, value sipper enjoyed on a beautiful Spring afternoon while grilling burgers and dogs. Half a star for value. — 7 years ago

Blueberries and cola with a hint of tobacco on nose. Attack is tart dark fruit, cocoa, tobacco and spice. Mid-palette reveals hints of cedar. Finish returns to cola, bitter fruit and smoky oak. Medium to full bodied. Very interesting wine... especially at this price point. — 7 years ago

Strawberries, cherry cola and hints of cranberry on a bold nose. Attack of tart cherries and cranberries with hints of leather and cocoa. There is a sweetness that comes through in the mid-palette that is unusual, as well as a little heat on the finish. Extra half point for value. Will try this one again. — 7 years ago

Ripe apples, pears and skins and floral hints on a big nose. Juicy apple, pear and peach on attack with a sweet, citrus lemony finish. This one is a great summer sipper. I would like it a bit more if it traded a little of the sweetness for more acidity, but overall a great value wine. Medium bodied. Good acidity. extra half point for value. — 7 years ago
