I am a fan of this Pinot - drink alone or paired with chicken. — 7 years ago
This blood red wine is a blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Syrah, Cabernet Franc. It's ok on it's on but really comes alive when paired with beef or pork. Big and bold - and the price is right, just the way I like my wines. — 7 years ago
Game of a Thrones the TV show is filled with drama, treachery, intrigue and passion. I am a HUGE fan of both the show and the Cabernet bearing its name. This wine is full bodied, rich and flavorful . . . Drink a la carte or paired with some Ono steak. — 7 years ago
Prisoner is one of my favorite wines so when I saw that Abstract is also from Orwin Swift I had to try it. Love anything full bodied with soft, low tannins. Tried this wine at the Range Restaurant in Denver. Conventional wisdom on pairing says that Red Grenache is best with stews, lamb, gamey birds. However, I ate the BLT chopped salad and the Cedar Planked Gulf Shrimp and it was heavenly. Maybe it was the Tabasco butter / chimichurri / pickled peppers / and chile grits preparation of the shrimp that made the pairing scrumptious! — 8 years ago
