Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Dinner with clients. Dusty fresh cherry, light tannins, tight, years to go to open.

A bit vegetable on the nose with tomato leaves and baking spices. Much more fruit present on the palate with boysenberry, blackberry, tons of vanilla, cloves and dried tabacco. Chewy tannins with lingers notes of seedy blackberries and mouth coating weight.

Excellent wine. Way too young to open now, but I wouldn’t ever deny it. Excellent flavor but could be a lot better with about 10 years more. Pairs perfectly with bacon wrapped steak & frites.

From a 1 liter bottle. Which frankly was marketing and sales genius by the Wanner’s.

Fruity. Sweet. Lots of oak. A bit better with some bottle age. Let this breathe for quite a bit.

Big round purple fruits. Milk chocolate. Low acid. Needs time

We had the 2016 Vintage on 5/14/23. Nice tastes of blackberry, plum, vanilla and cassis. Full bodied, fruit forward, well balanced. A very good Napa floor Cab.

Mega purple strikes again. Spend your money elsewhere

Not too big but very smooth . ‘16 vintage is too good
