Wonderful balance. Full body yet not overly fruity. Long finish. We drank the 2005 alongside the 2009 vintage on the same evening. We agreed that the 2005 was superb and the 2009, though excellent, will be even batter in a few more years. — 6 years ago
What a wonderful wine from Jesse Katz at Aperture. Well balanced, long on the nose, smooth on the finish. — 6 years ago

Very nice blend. Well balanced from start to finish. Toothsome. 2014 vintage. Might be still better in 2021. — 5 years ago
Perfect pairing with a lamb tagine. Big but not overwhelming. Nice balance. Some cherries and a hint of leather. Well done. — 6 years ago
Drinking the 2016 Sugarloaf Vineyard blend. Very well structured. Lush with a long finish. Plums with hints of blueberry. Outstanding. — 5 years ago

Lovely bottle - nice body but rather elegant. 2009 vintage. — 6 years ago
So many Sauvignon Blancs are thin and acidic. Aperture’s is fuller in the mouth, almost creamy. Well rounded, some tastes of fresh fruits. Peaches, perhaps? Slightly oaky ... with hints of something else .... acacia? This is now my favorite SB. 2016 vintage. — 6 years ago

Never heard of red vermintino before. It’s delightful, fresh and flavorful. Happy to drink it in Balin, the best restaurant in Sestri Levante. — a year ago
