Wonderful balance. Full body yet not overly fruity. Long finish. We drank the 2005 alongside the 2009 vintage on the same evening. We agreed that the 2005 was superb and the 2009, though excellent, will be even batter in a few more years. — 6 years ago

So many Sauvignon Blancs are thin and acidic. Aperture’s is fuller in the mouth, almost creamy. Well rounded, some tastes of fresh fruits. Peaches, perhaps? Slightly oaky ... with hints of something else .... acacia? This is now my favorite SB. 2016 vintage. — 6 years ago
