Very nice red currant and a little dust, a little bell pepper, very classic and drinkable Bordeaux.

This was good but was one of the more disappointing Pichon Lalande's I've had. While elegant, well integrated, it lacked structure, complexity as well as, the good showing of strong fruit one has come to expect from this producer. Slightly better with the Ribeye than on it's own. If you own the 2002, I'd drink them up as it's not going to continue to improve.

Too young, as advertised this is a beast and needs another 4-6 years. Potential is + for sure

Torn between this and the Cos D' Estournel as the WOT day. Thought possibly new world cab franc based on the white pepper I was getting on the nose. The taste showed the age well...dark fruits, wet rock, hint of dirt.

Almost over the hill. Very muted flavors, starting to open up with time, but may not return to its former status 1-2 years ago
