Good chardonnay! Fruit forward, notes of apple, pear and stone fruit, subtle citrus. Slightly creamy, not oaky, but still fairly robust in flavor. — 9 years ago
Very nice fruit forward merlot with a strawberry nose, and tart cherry flavor. Not bad. Also Dracula makes for a great label on the Halloween weekend — 9 years ago
Really good Italian chardonnay. Refreshing citrus and subtle stone fruit, and even more subtle minerality. Fermented in stainless steel, so no oak to it at all. Had this with a smoked prosciutto, tomato and manchego panini with French onion soup. It worked okay, but bit too acidic for the salty prosciutto, but worked beautifully with the soup. — 9 years ago
Happy wine Wednesday! This is a gift Victoria and David brought back for me on their Michigan trip! Delightful off dry rose of pinot noir. Lots of strawberry to this. Very nice, and unsuspectingly potent at 13.5% ABV. No matter! I'm in my happy place! — 8 years ago
Okay, it's been a while, but here is this week's wine. I LOVE it! It has lots of fresh, crisp red berry flavors. Also, this is off dry. Those expecting some sweetness like a white Zinfandel will be disappointed. Oddly enough, this practically is white Zinfandel as the blend of grapes making this are Zinfandel and Chardonnay grapes. I'd say this is good pairing for grilled chicken or seafood. 13% ABV. Definitely made it to my top 10 favorite rosé list. — 8 years ago
Yummy Lodi zinfandel. Bright red jammy berries with a nice peppery kick. Nicely balanced, lots of fruit and subtle floral on the nose, medium tannins. I'm a huge fan of Lodi zins, and this is nice for the price point. — 9 years ago
A little sweeter than I normally like, but not too sweet. Blend of Semillon, Muscadelle and sauvignon blanc grapes. Stone fruit and honey. Almost reminds me of a less sweet, lighter and more refreshing version of Sauternes. Paired okay with the mildly spicy panang curry I had for dinner. Probably a good alternative to Riesling when pairing with spicy Asian food. — 8 years ago
Very nice! Semi sweet and fruity. Apple, pear, apricot, honey and a white floral nose. Honeysuckle. Personally I like this better than Riesling even though the style is similar. Crisp. Refreshing. — 9 years ago
Lots of soft red fruit. Cherries, strawberries, soft tannins, subtle earthy flavor. Very light and easy to drink. — 9 years ago

Happy Wine Wednesday! Okay, I'll admit, picked this one up for the bottle. It was calling me from the shelf. Nice, aromatic, fruit forward on the nose cab with a kick of spice at first sip. It's good. I wouldn't say it's great. But it's good. Chewy tannins. Cherries, cinnamon, and and clove. Not bad. Might be better with food. — 8 years ago
