A fairly serious Zin, especially for the price. A dark and beautiful purple, turning garnet towards the rim. Rich black berries and raspberries mingle with hot earth. Black and green bell pepper are also there, as well as a smell of old timber. The palette is rich and full - there may be a touch of Syrah in there - the dark fruits meld into sweet, black earth. The finish lingers into pleasant oakyness.

Yummy Lodi zinfandel. Bright red jammy berries with a nice peppery kick. Nicely balanced, lots of fruit and subtle floral on the nose, medium tannins. I'm a huge fan of Lodi zins, and this is nice for the price point.

Good - jammy and a lot of fruit flavor without being too sweet and almost no tannins. Yet, to me it has almost a bit of a sour flavor on the front of the palette

Candied Red Fruit, very slight tar, and a touch of wood. A little tight up front with not enough out back. #zin can be better.
