Mild pinot, hint of currant which I'm not a fan of. — 3 years ago
Love this fine, smooth, a little sweet and the best combination with dark chocolate. — 4 years ago
Lovely white, first Gruner I've ever tried. Nice acidity, a hint of grapefruit bitterness, and a tiny bit of body. Would pair well with shellfish. — 5 years ago
Amazing and delicious. Dry but with a juicy middle. This is a Cab. Drinking and laughing with Melissa at Sattui — 5 years ago
2015 ... Soft, smooth, red cherry and currants. Delicious to the last drop ... we’re opening a second bottle 🥰 — 5 years ago
Happy Spring! It’s one of our favorite points in the year. More; daylight, a little warmer in CA and everything starts to bloom which, means a long summer of gardening and being outdoors every day/night is not far off.
Since it was such a great day and basically most Californians are shut-Ins, the voluntary self quarantining was getting to me. I did the landscaping and got an afternoon of fresh air today. A breath of fresh air...ahhh! Wow, was it needed after Gavin’s Newsom’s estimate of 25.5 million Californians would be infected with Coronavirus over 8 weeks yesterday.
So, a good night to celebrate another day of being virus free with my 2nd favorite N/V Rosé Champagne.
All my numerous previous notes apply.
Stay safe everyone and remember the new terminology of the new decade...social distancing! Cheers! 🍾🥂

This was the Rosé of the Cremant. It’s got plenty of apricot and other stone fruit on the nose and in the mouth. Complex and interesting. Beautiful in the glass. A great sparkling wine at a good price. — 5 months ago
A blend of 65% Cab Sauv, 20% Cab Franc & 15% Merlot, note more CF and no Petit V as in prior years. Deep Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits and sweet vanilla cedar aromas. On the palate black cherry, blackberry and plum flavors with vanilla, tobacco and oak spice. Smooth and refined tannins, long ending with sweet earthy tones. Wow!! Need to decant! Tried twice, Wow! — 4 years ago
Medium Ruby with ripe red fruit, blossom and sweet herb spices. On the palate raspberry and cherry flavors with integrated oak, herb tea, forest floor and cacao. Fine savory soft tannins on a good structure on a long ending with oak, fruit and earthy character. — 5 years ago
Creamy mouthfeel. Buttery (big time), oaky, with a lot of Meyer lemon, pear, honeysuckle and a bit of apricot. — 5 years ago
Oak, melon, cream, and hints of chard. Rich, and round but still has a crisp note. Not overly oaked. — 6 years ago
Enjoyed this ultra full bodied Cab with nice steak. Let this bottle breathe a good 4-5 hours before serving. And then decanter. It was worth the wait. — 8 months ago
Bold oak and cedar over black cherry and a touch of stone. Big and holds up well to food. — 3 years ago
Green apple, grapefruit, and stone. Crisp, acidic, and lightly sweet. Good flavor but a hint sour. — 4 years ago
This was very closed for the first pour and benefited greatly from some time (1hr) to breathe. Once it opened up, it had a liquid smoke hints on a crisp, grassy nose. Tasted of blackberry, black cherry, and cola with along acidic finish. — 4 years ago
Baby Brenda is napping, so, full marks. — 5 years ago

What to do when the amount of Coronavirus cases keeps increasing in California. Start the night off with a glass of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champanges.
All my numerous notes still apply!
Stay infection free folks! Cheers! 🍾🥂
