100% Sangiovese grapes, from vineyards consisting of shale (Galestro) 70%, sandstone (Arenaria-Calcare-Pietraforte) 20%, limestone (Alberese) 10%. Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits with sweet spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and currants with tobacco, licorice and vanilla, adding pepper spice. Fine vivid tannins, medium+ finish, well balanced with acidity, ending with fruit and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 2 years ago
