Wow very similar to Ardal reserve tasted same night. Same vintage. Black fruit cherry with little less chalkiness. Delicious. Med-full long lasting — 6 years ago

N: Lots of caramel, treacle, hazelnuts. Big nose, wood.diesel,You can sense* the age on this, the nose has no sharp edges.
P: Dry caramel, Honey, syrup, diesel, some exotic fruits but an amalgam.
Delicious but dangerous @20°
Great w Asado Negro.
I must say that for a wine with that much alc., it bears no sense of heat. — 3 years ago
Incredibly complex 30 year Oloroso from Bodegas Tradicion. Bought this after a great tour and tasting at Tradicion. It’s definitely the best sherry I’ve ever tasted. Dried and apricots, burnt orange, bitter orange peel, toasted hazelnuts, caramelized brown sugar sea salt and chocolate with a beautiful acidity and drive on the palette. Would pair this with jamon iberico, toasted nuts, and a nice salty cheese. Just stunning. — 6 years ago
This is delicious. Hot, not overly sweet, dry. Taste almost like a dessert wine to me! I wish I bought two of this bottle and not just one! — 8 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Deep Ruby color with aromas of fruit, earthy spiced and woodsy notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with cedar, tobacco, leather and spicy notes. Firm chewy tannins, medium finish ending with fruit, tobacco, cedar and earthy mineral character. — a month ago
