The Drake or (Aubrey) champagne. — 3 years ago
This is the 2017 Lauren from Sonoma Coast by Aubrey. The color is gold with obvious vanillin oak on the nose. The wine is cloudy at the bottom indicating extreme extraction. The flavors are imbalanced with fruit and oak. None the less the flavor is intense Chardonnay with excess alcohol in the finish. I liked it as a intense California Chardonnay but certainly prefer French Chardonnay. — 4 years ago
Bright, berry flavors. Much lighter than the California pinots. Darren and Aubrey brought. — 8 years ago

Shout out to another KS winery! Yes, this is really Lake County CA grapes but still made by a local winery that has done a great job. Unoaked, this has a very clean crisp flavor profile that elicits thoughts of a Riesling and Sauv Blanc. Lemon, pear, general citrus and medium to medium plus acidity. — 4 years ago
Strong aromas of baking spices, caramel, currant and back strap molalass. Good balance that builds. Soft firm supple tannins. Paul says BOOBS. I agree. Aubrey thought it was a cab. Enough said. — 7 years ago
2007 Aubrey Ritchie Vineyard Chardonnay. Was pretty buttery, oaky when we opened it. Didn’t drink it. Corked it and tried it again tonight. It’s pretty much dead - not much finish and it ends pretty abruptly. — 4 years ago
