[from 750] drinking very well right now (2018). Indescribable? Taste from some other axis of space-time-sense? Custard, melon, pineapple, diesel, bandaid, orange spice. . . — 6 years ago
Pretty deep ruby /garnet core , lightening though not a lot at the edges , very big thick slow legs. Certainly secondary aromas now, ceder , licorice , blackcurrant with a meaty undertone , quite interesting and complex . In the mouth more of the blackcurrant fruit, minty notes also , then the tannins kick in. They are ripe but omnipresent , almost a cocoa powder finish with the drying tannins. The mid palate is slightly hollow and lacks a bit of charm. This is a big wine though the acidity is balancing I'm not sure those tannins will ever be resolved. It doesn't come as 'new world' you would think it could be a left bank Bordeaux , a St Estephe perhaps, though the sweeter tannins and slightly alcoholic kick give away another origin. Coming back to this , I think there will probably be limited upside , the wine appear too hollow to really improve. So drink now and over the next 3 years . — 7 years ago
Completamente vale la pena. Hits the sweet spot of quality on the y axis and price on the x axis. Seems like anything blended with a garnacha floats the boat ⛵️ . Idk how I haven't seen this at TJ's yet — 8 years ago
Light, complex, easy to sip or enjoy with food. We paired with a variety of flatbread pizzas. — 7 years ago

Along with the Axis, my favorite of @Stanley Barrios’ offerings. A stunner! — 10 months ago
