This red was tanic right after opening but much better the second day. Then it was a full bodied slightly sweet and fruity red instead of a heavy and acidic steak wine, which it tasted the first day. — 3 years ago
My journey with TX wines continues...
YES! This is a killer effort of a Spanish varietal that is doing great here in TX! Many Spanish reds do well here, so I shouldn’t be surprised in regards to white varietals. I was skeptical at first as it was too cold...seemed like a run of the mill SauvBlanc, but this was wonderful once it warmed closer to room temp. Nose had a lot of melon, watermelon rind, honeydew, white flowers. Really nice texture from start to finish. Palate has more melon fruits, even some banana, and honeyed walnuts. Nice acidity...crisp, but not sharp. One of the best TX whites I’ve had. Very nicely done @Ron Yates ! Looks like @Shawn R and I scored this the same! — 7 years ago
Deep purple in color; violets, plums, lilac (I think), and a little vanilla on the nose; medium acidity, high tannins; tastes like crushed gravel, flowers, and black cherries with a medium finish. I love it. Nellie likes it too. — a year ago
Super smooth but lots of flavor! — 4 years ago
This wine is amazing. Balanced in all the right ways. — 4 years ago
Oh my gosh I absolutely love this. I'm not usually a huge fan of Texas wines, but this one hit it out of the park. What an incredible mix of Farmhouse-y funk and berries. — 7 years ago
Nice golden yellow with floral and honey aromas. Slightly sweet with a butter taste and fills the mouth nicely. — a year ago
This is a very pale Texas wine with a very citric nose. Lemon leads the way, but there is lime and orange peel in play, too. A hint of lemon chess pie floats through the minerality along with an herbal note. The palate shows apricot and nectarine flavors filtering through the spicy greenness of the herbaceous essence of the wine. The acidity is zippy, but not overly so. Pairing this with a cool, green salad this summer is a no-brainer. — 2 years ago

Deep ruby in color; black cherries, tabacco, and blackberries on the nose; medium acidity; medium tannins; tastes like violets, plums, and dried herbs with a long finish. Nellie says it's ok, but I love it. — 3 months ago
