Great value, clean mineral melon and honey, not too stylized, waxy or lanolin.

Marquis de Musset St. Macaire Sémillon Blend 2012

2012 very floral at first, then opens up to more butterscotch notes. Well worth aging for a few years. — 9 years ago

There is nothing in this St Emilion that’s not to love! Very drinkable, nice fruit, little oxidation so a “young” Bordeaux! — 7 years ago

Cuvee L'age d'Or Brut Champagne

Thanksgiving. If you can get past the slightly tacky bottle, it’s an excellent champagne, perfectly balanced — 9 years ago

Ame d'Antan Chinon Cabernet Franc

So balance, nice grip/body that competes, very dark and purple, sweet floral lotiony smell, the body is thick, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries/strawberries blended and mashed - all not quite perfectly ripe - per a recommendation from chamber street wine having chicken with this- holy cow - what a great thing- by the way, if you think about chicken breast going in, it all makes sense, amazing earth and blossom — 9 years ago
