2017 - rare wine at Oak Park — 8 months ago
Smokey and rich. Plums and blackberries. Very nice but not quite as good as I was expecting. No reason to hold any longer. — 4 years ago
It says Pinot Noir on the bottle so I’ll believe them, but I would have a called Napa cab of some sort, and a big one at that. Varietal aside, this drank well. If you think Napa cab while you’re drinking or pairing it, it works well. — 3 months ago
I can’t recall when I first tried this but this is not showing much age to it. Plenty of fruit and the tannins while integrated is not as silky as I had hoped. Slightly grainy and given the age it could go another 10yrs easily. — 8 months ago
Intense, elegant, and complex. Dark fruits abound with hints of mocha. Be sure to recant for a few hours beforehand. — 4 years ago
The most expensive rose I’ve tasted, and no doubt the best as well.
My notes from last year still apply. In addition, there are both savory and saline touches on the long finish. The acidity is just about perfect.
‘21 is the inaugural release of this tiny production, a year after the Glass Fire pretty much destroyed the entire home vineyard. — 3 months ago
50 % CF from Beckstoffer To Kalon
50% Cabernet from Pritchard Hill.
Needs a 4 hour decant which I forgot to do before I left the house,
Next time. Wagyu Ribeye required
Seems very few have tried this one on delectable. Not worth release price of almost $300.00 but definitely worth an auction price for $125.00 — a year ago

Nice but I think these need to be drunk. — 2 months ago
