Another terrific and inexpensive example from this low-lying southern Rhone appellation. Complex, intense nose. Iodine, garrigue, dark roasted herbs, dark berry fruit. Intense, darkly fruity and savory palate. I’ll take this over most CDP’s these days. 14.5% alc. so good. — a month ago

Dinner at August New Orleans 3/1/18 Charlotte Bonney treat. Lowest priced bottles in long list including Le Tache at two grand. $40. Good balanced nose and palate with more earthy savory notes than primary fruit and medium finish. More interesting than expected. — 8 years ago
