This is Muscadet actually. 2013 vintage. Single vineyard in the Vallet subzone (one of the 10 crus communaux) . 100% Melon de Bourgogne, aged 51 months on the lees in this particular vintage (normally 24).No malo. Citrus fruit and minerality. Ripe grapefruit, high acidity, good length with grapefruit bitterness and salty minerality. Still very young, I believe this will benefit from a few more years of bottle ageing. Abv. 12%. 6250 bottles produced. — 4 years ago

Beautiful, tart, buttery. Definitely doesn't taste like a "working-man's wine" — 9 years ago
