Nose has green melon rind, over-ripe peach, orange pith, pink salt slab, golden raisins, dehydrated apricots and celery leaf; Improvement with extended air.

Palate has dried lemon, candied pineapple, warm clementine orange wedge, peach skin, dehydrated peach, wet sand, medium acidity and finish.

This bottle is in a nice spot today, but not up to par with the Ch. La Rame (outstanding showing) today.

$14 Jul 2015; buy and cellar inexpensive Bordeaux Blanc, be very happy later when the acidity settles...

Il colore e la bolla ammaliano, staresti li a guardalo per sempre, brillante, rame splendente, le note di frutto qui sono più importanti e si sentono di più anche i lieviti, la pasticceria, una torta ai frutti di bosco leggermente tiepida. Slight floral (red and purple flower) on the nose, tomato leaves, dried thyme, sage leaves, black cherry, licorice, dark plum, slightly smoky, high tannin, med plus acidity,!a bit irony, slightly vanilla. Classic Boudreaux. Give it couple years could be splendid! — 6 years ago
