Raspberry and spice to the nose. Raspberry spice leather and herb to the palate. Nice rounded mouthfeel with a long finish. Wonderful now with the potential to age awhile. — 7 years ago
Just a superb wine. Smooth and ready to drink 2007. — 9 years ago
Heady aromas of scorched earth, smoke and charred red meat, chocolate, black currants, pepper, violets, coffee, and brimstone. Continues on the palate, with a viscous mouthfeel akin to witches' milk and rich dark flavors wound tightly around a green stem of licorice and burnt soil. A volcanic masterpiece of apocalyptic proportions! Truly he'll on earth in a glass. Thick as blood. This one stomps a mudhole in your ass, come from straight out the swamp. Only this swamp was napalmed in the best of ways. Flowers on a fresh, hot grave! — 11 years ago
2014 vintage. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30%Merlot and equal parts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Aged 16 months in barriques (30% new). Cassis, cedar wood and a dash of clove and black pepper. Medium-bodied, with fresh fruit, tannin with a slightly rough edge, and good spicy length. Good value at 13 euros. Unfortunately owner Bernard Lartigue passed away in October 2020. His very young daughter Alice-Jeanne is now in charge. — 4 years ago
Deep in color and flavor. Smooth, no tannins(make sure to decant for an hour). A little dry. — 9 years ago
Working backwards from the Languedoc and Cab this Bordeaux blend was complex and the '09 ready to drink now. Not as austere as I expected with a good amount of subtlety on the initial impression and really nice finish. — 7 years ago
Deep red bordeaux color with brownish rim of some age. Powerful vibrant aromas of confiture fruits, savory notes of leather, earthy. Very good acidity that gives pleasant freshness to the wine. The wine is at its peak. Blend: Merlot 80%, CabFr 20%.
Grand Cru status means just a slightly tighter restrictions on production compared to St.Emilion AOP wines. 30 yrs old vines. Machine harvesting. Vinification in cement and steel tanks. Aging in vats 50% and new barrels 50%. Rating 4,0/5 — 8 years ago

A bit earthy. I didn’t like it at the first sip but it very quickly grew on me. — a year ago
