Real Name La Combe Pebenelle Marsannay still Nuit Saint Georges. excellent Premier Cru quality — 3 years ago
A very nice Pommard. Decanted for 4 hours at the suggestion of the fine folks at Chambers St. Layers of aromatics reveal currant, plum, and earth / leather. Lots of dark cherry on the palate. Very complete with a long finish with some great acidity. Tannins certainly there and even after 4 hours a touch of oak is faintly evident, but not in a bad way. Thoroughly enjoyable. — 7 years ago
Great comp with'95 Nuits Lescure with RC 7/20/16. Nose had some kind of minty and earthy note that stood out but RC doesn't feel it. Palate also had notes that I feel are complex and earthy. Carried through to finish. Yum. RC says this is elegance. — 10 years ago

I bought this knowing very little about it, but the price was right and the risk paid off. This is already giving a lot of pleasure. A mix of dark and candied red fruit and baking spices. Really impressed by this one. — 3 years ago
Nose of opulent plum, blueberry, dark cherry, wet stone, licorice, and (slightly) sweet vanilla. Medium concentration. Medium+ intensity on the palate (and nose). More minerality and violet notes coming through on the palate. Medium acidity, medium+ tannins, and medium+ alcohol. Medium+ finish. 15% new oak. — 7 years ago
Beautiful, peppery Pinot.
Aging great. One I wouldnt mind always having around. — 8 years ago
Delicious #vacation16 — 10 years ago
A very very nice, beautifully elegant wine. Citrus notes on the nose, buttery, toasty, oaky flavors. There might be a hint of spice somewhere, very complex! Could age for a long time. Great pairing on scallops, poultry, even crème brûlée. The creamy texture and the buttery, lemony characters on the palate are really pleasant. Loved it! — 10 years ago

candied red cherry, hint of brett? heavy savory notes. needs to open. I’ll try and come back to notes — 4 years ago
No new oak. Top of Pommard, 100% whole cluster. A serious Bourgogne Rouge with tons of herbs, spices, and minerality. Medium acidity and young tannins. Medium body. — 7 years ago
Very pretty aroma and delicious fruit and long finish. Merci Mathieu! — 7 years ago
Purchased at L'arbe à Vins. Delicious!Drank for Michele's bday homemade dinner of salmon and Piedmontese peppers. — 10 years ago
Wonderful nose, lemon and cream. Luscious buttery on palate perfectly balanced by acid. Long lip smacking finish. Yummy. — 10 years ago
There's 'buttery' Burgundy and then somewhere, off in the distance, there's this Meursault. It tastes like someone accidentally fat-washed an already fantastic white burgundy with a kilo of Lescure. Drank with some perfectly poached halibut it was sensational. — 11 years ago
