Tonight's wine I have opened the 2010 Chateâu Branaire-Ducru Duluc de Branaire-Ducru.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, black currant, game, eucalyptus, chocolate and earth.
On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, plum sauce, black currant, dried herbs, spice and earth.
This wine is full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + fine grippy tannins that leads to a long dark fruit earthy finish. I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. We are almost to the end of the first week in June and the weekend is upon us. Please enjoy the rest of the week and have a great weekend. Stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 years ago
@Ron R I think Saint-Julien is such an underrated and overlooked appellation in Bordeaux. Because they don't have a First Growth I think is a big reasonnthey are overlooked, but it still has a lot to offer.
Nose: Sweet, soft cigar box, black pepper at the very end. Gentle tannins, fruit is almost gone but there's still enough structure to hold everything together. Very enjoyable drinking. — 9 years ago
