Just a hint of effervescence when first opened. It’s light and bright without much acidity, but much more flavorful than Sancerre or Chenin Blanc, and without too much citrus. Slight sweetness, like a honey crisp apple.
We had it with Argentine shrimp cooked in butter and red pepper and it was was heavenly. — 4 months ago
Tart cherries, minerality, and some brambles. I love this! — 8 years ago
This was a lovely red and very true to its origin in Piedmont though perhaps a bit more full bodied than you’d suspect from a mostly-Barbers wine. Delicious and held up well with a hearty pot roast. Had the 2017 vintage. — 4 years ago

2013 holding on beautifully. Sneaky but delicious oxidation round out the nicely balanced acidity. Applause. — 3 months ago
