Taittinger

Comtes de Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne Chardonnay 1998

Wonderful. Such a distinct personality for the Taittinger portfolio. Toasted oak, green and gold Apple peel, lemon curd, decomposing apricot, soft chalk and brioche with a tad bit of sugar. Good weight that is too much for fish but perfect for roast chicken. Really classy and surprisingly fresh for its 18 years of age. Thank you Clovis Taittinger! — 8 years ago
