Deep red - purple color, medium - heavy body. Nondecriptive nose. Bone dry, red fruit with boysenberry on the fore-palate with an “oh too light” peppery and spicy finish. Tim’s mature and well developed palate observed a hint of vanilla at very end of the finish, however it eluded me. Consistent throughout the bottle. 2014. Terrific aromatics! Cinnamon pie dough and sweet cherries and baking spice. Honestly, the aroma alone is worth the price of admission. Medium to full bodied with good acidity and plenty of ripe red and black fruit and very low tannins. Finish is long with spice and fruit and very fine grain tannins.
