Dark garnet red. Delicious funky notes, a touch dirty, savory and herbaceous. A tiny bit of fruit starts to come out after about 30 minutes in the glass. Black fruits on the attack with some savory characteristics. Redder notes near the mid palate. Medium tannins (5.5/10) and medium bodied. A touch of heat in the backend with cherries and a long finish. Drink till 2020.

Decent Syrah. Very smooth. Drink now and best with food. Not the best for drinking by itself. Lots of dark fruit coming through. Slight pepper undertones.

Feb 11th, 2017Very decent Syrah. Drinking well now. Personally would not hold it much longer. Smooth with slight pepper on the finish. Actually quite good with BBQ.
