Reliably St-Emilion, sturdy and delicate at the same time. Good balance, great velvety touch. — 7 years ago
This is second for Pontet-Canet, 5th class of grand Cru in Bordeaux. Deep violet color initially, later on, changed into vintaged color. Aroma is including Oak, Vanilla, black fruits, a bit spicy. Taste is still solid. One hour later, opened, still have a certain level of acidity, so even if it is 2004 vintage, still needs another 5 years. At least one hour decanting is necessary. @7873, Tuscany-TH, 161229-170318 — 8 years ago

Very well made ste foy from the former winemaker of Pontet Canet and his wife. Super value. Merlot dominant, at least on the nose and palette. Still very young. — 3 years ago
