Borell Diehl

Trocken Müller-Thurgau

Creaminess, salinity, and tropical fruits merge with humid winds swaying in the palms in this bouquet.

Wonderful, graceful color.

Effervescence that’s playful enough to bring out the asian pear and mask some of the petrol notes that can come off a bit oily and unctuous. Slight pineapple.

Wonderfully chuggable. This would be great with all sorts of seafood, Asian and Indian fare.

BD Trocken Spätburgunder 2018

Very clean and fresh with plenty of crisp apple, pear and lemon curd. Definitely drinks and tastes like a Riesling. Although I guess it’s supposed to be listed as a white wine from Germany (it’s a damn good Riesling) — 5 years ago

Kabinett Gewurztraminer 2015

Definitely on the sweeter side. Demi sec at least for sure. Pretty much what you'd expect from Gewurtztraminer. The nose is peaches and lychee. The palate is floral and peachy. Nice acidity, with a slight prickle. Definitely a perfect pair for spicy food. — 8 years ago

Lots of stone fruit. Longer finish. Balanced acidity. Very sweet, but softens with spicy Indian food!
