Very distinctive. Some barnyard funk in the nose, alongside smoky notes and dark, ripe, pungent berries. Not a shy nose. On the palate it’s earthy, a little funky, with good acids. Nice structural balance to counter the nattie flavor profile. A Crozes that marches to the beat of its own drummer.

UPDATE: Night 2, there is an overwhelming nail polish remover scent that’s taken over. Yuk. Down the drain. If you have these, drink them soon, and fast. — 2 days ago

The white wine I bought at Loire shows a lot of minerality with great acidity. Pears, green apples, mandarins, orange blossom. It went perfect with veal meat. Amazingly good! - Este foi o vinho branco comprado no Vale do Loire. Mineralidade intensa, maçãs verdes, pera, flor de laranjeira, acidez deliciosa!
