Le Temps est Venu Côtes du Rhône Grenache 2022

A very happy find, this grenache/syrah blend. It's heavy on the cassis, licorice, and stone. Some blood orange on the bitter-ish finish. But, not unpleasant in any way. I agree with Scott's note: This wine does go down softer than most CDR's. @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego

@Dave, I’m not sure what I’m being accused of, but I’d hope I’m not on the short list of this week’s crucifixions??? 👀

Les Hauts De la Garde

Bordeaux 2020

Pale fruit, crisp finish, not too sweet and easily to drink by itself or with a fish. — 4 years ago

Château-Chalon Vin de Garde Savagnin 1995

Medium deep lemon , old gold colour , slightly hazy appearance. Intense on the nose with iodine , sea breeze , green apple and Indian spices . On the palate this also shows a lot of intensity and grip , really quite young apparently . Green apple , toasted almonds , orange rind , curry and a strong seaside component . Long and complex on the finish with , really fresh saline tinged acidity . This is seems pretty young and I would imagine can still go another decade or longer. — 3 months ago

Fig? Plum? Sea salt. Has the density and richness of a dessert wine, but it isn’t. Strange and good. — 4 years ago
