Very nice village pinot, bright & lively, good acidity, reasonable tannins though light and not very prominent, hints of earth and forest beginning to develop. — 6 years ago

Burgundy night. Started off with a nice champagne followed by a Cali roussanne to calibrate the palates.

One of the top reds of the night for me. Very dusty fruit. Cranberry tea with blackberry pie. Very good at this age.

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2009

Well-built, letting the earthen elements shine without an excessive amount of oak. Pretty notes of brett would with mushroom, pretty florals, and enough umph to layer good depth and complexity. Drinking very nicely right now. — 11 years ago

Au Chouillet Vieille Vigne Nuits St. Georges Pinot Noir 2018

2018 vintage. Medium body. Starting to transition to secondary flavors with some of the easy, baby beauty gonzo. Feel like it will be cresting the hill in approximately 6-8 years if you can hold off that long. 03.26.25. — a year ago

Bourgogne Passetoutgrain Gamay Pinot Noir 2011

The gamay part allows it to age quicker and it gives you some tertiary characters at only 8yrs of age. Fun wine and can satisfy certain cravings you can have for older burgs. — 7 years ago

Clos des Ormes Morey-Saint Denis Pinot Noir 2013

Delicate red flowers, hint of stewed cherry aroms. Med body. Med plus acidity, Med inensity. Delicate, soft texture, concentrated, finish with little sour cherry. Pretty simple. I thought It was very complex vut it was not. Idiot. I thought it was wine for meditation. — 10 years ago
