Jemma Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Ellman Family Vineyards Jemma Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Napa Valley, California

A delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Fruity and interesting. Rich and extracted.

Drinking beautifully now, but still very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years.

Complex and engaging. Showing nice complexity with a nice mouthfeel.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

A great sipping wine that will pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

14.8% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$200.

Red Blend 2010

I thought this was really good particularly for price. It isn't cheap by any means but drink above its price point. Looking forward to trying more of their wines. Chewy with great fruit yet with body and finish. — 9 years ago

Caryn Renae Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2019

Slightly hazy (it’s unfiltered) straw gold. Abundant nose of ripe guava and cantaloupe with a hint of must. Palate yields guava, lime rind, balsam, eucalyptus, with layers of other tart flavors wrapped in a medium body and supported by a backbone of medium acidity. Finish is medium and lush. My kind of SB! Just enough oak, fruit, and acidity with complexity that’s led by none. Roasted or sautéed poultry or a fancy white-fleshed fish (Bronzino, trout) will pair nicely as will game fowl and lighter cuts of red meats. Drink now through 2024. — 3 years ago
