On the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and medium intensity flavors of tart cherries, lavender, and dried herbs with a long finish. This wine is complex with balanced fruit, acidity, and tannins. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 10 months ago

This bottle really exceeded my expectations. Just a beautiful nose of sandalwood, Asian spices, dried cherries, and a bit of dark chocolate. Lovely tart cherry and potpourri on the palate, perhaps just a bit lacking in the mid-palate. The tannins really show up on the finish. Paired beautifully with pasta in a truffle cream sauce. — 8 years ago
