Great Bordeaux blend: red berries, wet leaves, earth, spice and oak. Balanced. — 6 years ago
Super sophisticated and refined… A real sommeliers dream to pair with sophisticated four-star food. Crisp minerality married delicately with oak enhanced mouthfeel = precision!! — 7 years ago
Really great value - did not expect such boldness and complexity from a NJ red wine with clear Italian roots and style.

Wine Shoe Sept 20201. Loved by me and Craig — 5 years ago
Okay, no one is confusing this with a Chateau Margeaux, but that's only because it lacks the really deep complexity. And many other ways, it has the rich depth and smooth tannins and even some of the aromas of the real thing. Lovely one. — 5 years ago
A little on the sweet side but tasty and refreshing. — 7 years ago

Lovely balance, fruit not over the top (tropical, white flowers, spice), refreshing acidity, 12.5ABV, and long finish. — 7 years ago

Very sweet with a little bit of a tart bite. Like drinking fruit juice — 8 years ago
Second time having this vintage. Gained a lot of earthy and smoky tonalities. Acidity stayed sharp and fruit didn’t fade out. The finish is like you grilled cherries on a open fire and then ate a ginger snap cookie. Alba does this varietal right. Many want to slap an oak bomb on this and call it a day, but this is shown respect and dignity. Cheers! — 8 years ago
