Rhonda likes on par with knob creek, but it is different (and different than most bourbon) — 5 years ago
Really nice beam juice. — 6 years ago
Rhonda likes very much. On a par with knob creek. Make sure it is the single barrel. — 6 years ago
The form factor yields a more mature and balanced offering than that of the N 39. Would not be disappointed having this as a budget wine at a restaurant – stays in its lane and has no harsh/offputting elements. It’s main drawback is it’s lack of nuance and sophistication — 7 years ago
This was a delightful chorus of midweight emotion and balanced verve. The Chambourcin indeed adds a front/mid palate variation to the routine Bordeaux blending recipe. A touch of Rhône is revealed! — 8 years ago
Enjoyed this in their Taylor Texas tasting room in the middle of the day in July. Very nice and smooth. — 9 years ago
酒精感很强烈,但是平衡性已经做得非常好了,奶油感很重,不愧是小桶,非常美式,很喜欢! — 2 years ago
How does anyone not hoard (regular) Sazerac at ~$25?!
Incredibly smooth, great sweet note to the finish. Again, why haven't I not been buying this for years...?
(BTW Kirkland Bourbon at $30 is worth the price of admission, earthy oak note on the palate is quite similar to Buffalo Trace.)
Counter-Clockwise from top left:
Buffalo Trace (single-barrel selection), Jefferson's Reserve Very Old/Very Small Batch, Knob Creek (9yo), Kirkland Bourbon (7yo), St George single-malt (SM 015), Hillrock (Ancram NY, solera aged, Barrel No. 174), Berkshire Mountain Distillers Shay's Rebellion and Wild Turkey Master's Keep (Batch 0001, 17yo). — 5 years ago

Surprisingly Eagle Rare 10 is highly allocated this year if you’ve had in the past. One bottle only on K&LStill has some tannins providing structure, full somewhat reserved body with good clean finish — 6 years ago
Picked it up for $5 at Knob Hill. Delicious bargain! — 8 years ago
Carmel, deep rich love — 8 years ago
Lots of oak, lots of char, cinnamon and spice. The 120 ABV kicks like a mule. A splash of water opens this up with a bit of dark fruit. — 8 years ago
Well-rounded. — 9 years ago

The Rye Project is Wolves’ first product offered into traditional distribution. Volume One is in collaboration with Willet Family Estate. The Rye Project is anchored by a very low-content rye whiskey distilled in Indiana and aged for 6 years in new American oak. No barrel finishes, no gimmicks. Wolves aims to deliver straightforward and balanced expressions of the best Rye in the world, in a low-rye format.
Upon Acquisition, the barrels were sent to Sonoma County for further aging. Then, Wolves and Willet Master Distiller, Drew Kulsveen, selected barrels of 7 and 6 year straight Rye whiskey from the Willet Family Estate reserve.
The custom cork top was inspired by the knob of a baseball that is a family heirloom of Jon Buscemi, while the label was created in partnership with a bespoke wine label maker in Sonoma County.” — 4 years ago

These peppers were once budding flowers that turn very wicked when they matureShockingly pure and elegant! A touch rustic, this western MD grown PV is a totally spot on for varietal correctness! It’s not the most luxurious build, but the flavors are just beautiful. Purple everything ;) Hat tip — 6 years ago
Amazing. Carmel and smoke, deep delish — 8 years ago
