Perfect balance, silky smooth with just enough tread — 2 years ago
Complex aromas of red cherry, herbs and spices, cedar. Lively tart cherry acidity, peppery tannins, smooth body. Incredibly balanced for a $12 wine, and more evidence that I like this grape, just not the fruit-bomb oak-bomb CA version! — 3 years ago
Got some heft to it. Fruit but complex. Really nice. — 5 years ago
Really good at cellar temp. Sophisticated light but with heft and length. A great balancing act — a year ago
Red and dark berries on the nose. Along with a dark tea and some earthiness.
On the palate tart fruit quickly giving way to spice. Then the tannins start to grip and introduce some savory notes.
Finish is a bit bitter but in a way that is inviting more food/drink.
Exceeded my expectations. — 2 years ago
Well balanced! Adequated body, soft tanines and refreshing! Tannat grape, a classic wind from Uruguay. Approved! — 3 years ago

A little bit too much of acidity at first approach, but developes significantly after a good breath. Getting round bodied, balanced in tanins, medium in sweetness. And very noble deep ruby color. Turns from young to a matured barbaresco in glass. Very very good — a month ago
