Cold & rainy day calls for a warming beer - this is thick, rich and chocolately. Yum. — 7 years ago
Nor as good as the Lagunitas, by a long shot. Although good, and definitely has thicker malt and body, this wine seems to have a little more of that whiskey barrel influence which short of conflicts with the Hop a little bit. Definitely better with a little bit of food. I honestly think I prefer their regular 471 to this one. — 8 years ago

They do in duggout club, but I’m not paying 6,000-10,000 for those seats, $350.00 in regular season is fineEasy sweetness and we'll hopped, this one will take you home. — 9 years ago
Antique gold to amber gasoline. White contrail crown, cartoon snowy-night-woods lacing pulls back to reveal wolves eyes. Candied lemon peel nose, with clementine and ripe ruby grapefruit juiciness.Awesome grapefruit-lime burst into orange zest and juice, focuses around tangerine and orange peel that swims in sweet lemon grass with light coconut water and dried pineapple-apricot. Really came to appreciate this one after 5 beers!! #lagunitas #lagunitassupercluster #supercluster #ipa #superclustermegaipa #megaipa #citrahops #cabeer #calibeer #petalumaca #lagunitasbrewing #lagunitasbrewingco — 5 years ago
This 2015 bottle lives up to the hype. Uneventful nose is followed by an extravagantly chewy mouthfeel. The sweet chocolate notes are perfectly balanced with the astringency of barrel and rye flavors. Barrel char, oak, white pepper, and nutmeg. This is one of the finest barrel aged stouts I’ve ever had. It lingers on the palate with smoke and leather like the finest whiskeys. I dare say this is the best expression of what High West whiskey has to offer. — 8 years ago
Clear yellow gold color, clean grapefruit nose, refreshing hoppy grapefruit & bready taste, this could masquerade as an IPA, very good! — 9 years ago
Awesome sipping beer on a full stomach. Nice and crisp and tart. — 9 years ago
Love this. Very flavorful — 10 years ago
Really, really , REALLY GOOD IPA. Bought one of these on a mix and match and should have bought at least 12! Great Citrus hop, balanced out by a touch of orange peel. Definitely not your juicier IPA. Starts off a tiny bit multi, and then goes to more of a dryer, woodsy style with some pine resin. Could drink 3 of these easy. At 7.5%, that would definitely catch up to you. ..... Maybe I'm glad I only bought 1! — 8 years ago

My go-to... if lagunitas ipa is offered, that’s what I’ll typically get. Perfect blend of hops to get a distinct flavor — 8 years ago
Clear yellowish amber with a white head. Sweet malt on the nose, citrus and a little herbal. A bit sweet on the palate too with sweet spices like cinnamon and caramel, some rice, yellow fruits and hops too. Long finish with a medium to full body. — 8 years ago
