Oy vey. Intense nose with limestone, sweet white floral notes, citrus. Super rich and poised with a thrilling yet subtle acidity. A gorgeous mouthfeel. Ripe but bright and fragrant. Just fantastic stuff. I’m sure this has a way aged but it is popping right now. — 4 months ago

Old school burg! Love this vintage. 02 Perrieres is showing beautifully tonight, red fruited, elegant and seductive, descriptors I wouldn’t say I typically associate with NSG. A lengthy slow ox has it wafting from the glass with dried raspberry, brown spices, game bird, forest leaves and a liquid rock minerality. The palate shows impressive power and concentration with melting tannins and a persistent mineral inflicted finish. At peak but should hold through 2029. — 4 months ago

Beautiful color. Burn copper around the rim. Nose of pomegranate, tart red cherry, dusty minerals, dry dirt, old cellar. Dusty tannins dry out the mouth quickly. Really delicate and quickly fading acidity. Palate has the dusty minerals, sand, tart red fruit, tree bark. The tannins tell me wait another 1-2 years, but the acidity says drink. The drying tannins hide the palate a bit. — 4 months ago
