Light bodied but bouquet is spicy almost curry-like, tastes intensely oaky, peppery, with leathery mouth feel, finishing with still some tannins despite 8 years in the bottle. Love this complex red — 2 years ago
So drinkable. Had this with the Galdos kids at a night hanging out at CourtTowers. — 3 years ago
Oak, Woodsy, Dark Berries, Tawny color, very smooth and dry at the same time pairs well with lamb and dark chocolate caramels — a month ago
Very smooth, one of the smoothest we have tasted. Glass tasted at aan de Poel, Amsterdam with beef, cépe and celeriac — 5 years ago
Blend of Negroamaro (90%) and Malvasia Nera (10%). Bright ruby color with a distinct brick rim. Aromas of black fruits, roasted meat and purple flowers. Flavors of black cherry, ripe plums and baking spices. Long, earthy and powerful finish. Bone dry, rustic and full bodied. Thanks for opening, Chris B. Revisited in October 2014. Still bright and fresh. Aging beautifully. — 9 months ago

Funky, spicy, but with plenty of bright cherry to balance. Loud and proud, not particularly balanced but it’s working for this wine. Great with pizza. — 2 days ago
