2014 ad 8 anni sembra più vecchio ma comunque buono — 3 years ago
2013 vintage.
Macchion dei Lupi is a winery in Suverto, North Maremma, Tuscany. Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese blend grown bio-dynamically, hand harvested and aged 24 months in French oak. Aromas of cherry, leather, black plum and Assam black tea.
Flavours of plum, cherry and strawberry with earthiness and great secondary developments. Medium plus acidity with a nice grip of tannins with a smooth finish. This wine begs anything coming off the grill. They also make a 100 % Merlot called Profeta that is outstanding.

Zinfandel + Sangiovese blend from California made in Italian style. Fruit forward but structured. Full bodied but almost sweet. Really lovely on its own. — 9 months ago

Well well well, balanced she said. Bright and earthy after uncorking but slow the horses! This beautiful wine opened up to reveal balance, elegance, light fruit, and smooth depth. This is the perfect age to drink it. Enjoying ourselves at Lupi & Iris in Milwaukee. — 2 years ago
