Purchased at Costco in Santa Rosa... fun lees cheesy funk, chalk and subtle underripe apple notes. Fresh and bright with yeasty, almond shell on the palate. Hits the spot after a day of tasting in RRV. — 7 years ago
Sweet on the nose. Bananas foster, white pears. Smooth and light but with some oomph, still back hint of caramel but more melon and cantaloupe and some savory backbone I can’t identify. Good stuff. — 8 years ago
Muted nose, blackberry aromas and other Cabernet notes. Medium weight - a detuned version of the premium Cuvée, Coleraine - New Zealand's best Cabernet producer IMO. A lovely Cabernet blend but I can't see the point of extended cellaring. Tasted 61 weeks later with consistent notes. Certainly no need to cellar any further. — 9 years ago
Best if the wines I have tried in Israel. Cab blend. Great noise and exquisite balance for a young wine. — 9 years ago
Cava rosat , tó salmó lleuger , bombolla fina central , molt elegant. Aromes florals i gust de maduixa i mores . Tot molt subtil i discret. Molt bó. Fontclara. — 10 years ago
A bit more rounded on day 2. I think this will get better with age. — 11 years ago
I had the 2015 vintage of this wine a number of years ago and didn't care much for it. I decided to give it another chance after running across it again, albeit the 2020 vintage. Fantastic. Aromas of violets, red fruit, and spice. On the palate, cherries, strawberries, and a bit of menthol. 100% Gamay. 6/6/23. — 3 years ago
That perfect pool toy thing I look for in a good penedes white. Very textural in a fun way. Seafood fitting. Great value here. Plenty of structure and character to carry on for years. — 6 years ago
Had this wine on a flight; greatly fruity and not grassy as I've come to expect from a lot of Sauv Blancs from this part of the world. I could drink this wine day in, day out. — 8 years ago
Really nice sparkler great with fried chicken toasty pear — 9 years ago
I was expecting some oxidative aromas (the amber-colored glass led me to think this was more aged than it is), but this beauty is light, bright and fresh. Lemon and brioche nose, with tiny bubbles, and a deftly-crafted palate of lemon/lime, green apple, wet stone, and a lovely, delicate and long finish. A terrific Cava. — 10 years ago
This is just an outstanding wine! Exciting, exuberant and reflecting so much the unique soul carried by Herdade do Rocim! This 2011 is a pure national Hampton... Not being a fan of Touriga Nacional, I must admit this harmonic baco is on the rise! A must — 11 years ago
This is an excellent wine I’m not all sad I didn’t share. Apples, pears, and lemon curd, oh my. A delightful zest that’s still quite dry. Leaves a garden in your mouth that’s all herbes de Provence.
Enjoy alone, or pair with anything that’s got numbing spice—hefty cinnamon’d curry, Sichuan peppercorn noodles, it won’t disappoint. — 3 years ago

Made in Martinborough NZ by Japanese perfectionist Hiro Kusuda. At vintage time he flies out a team of pickers from Japan who inspect each and every grape before crushing. A light to medium bodied Syrah with white pepper and ginger notes - also dried meat. On palate you can actually taste the pepper. Love this style of wine. Cannot see a long cellaring future however. Lovers of big Barossa styles may not like this. With a little more mid palate fruit I would have scored 96+. Very much like another Kiwi Syrah - Te Mata Bullnose from Hawkes Bay - one of my faves - also loads of white pepper. — 8 years ago
Sacred Thirst tasting. I tasted 7 Cava from this producer today. This was my favorite. — 10 years ago
I love this cava. It is always so fresh and pleasant. — 11 years ago

Sulphidic notes diminishing. A great combination of citrus and stone fruit plus some grilled nuts in the aromatics. The palate shows those same fruit characteristics with M minus acid and M plus palate intensity. A good Chardonnay from Hawkes Bay, better known for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. This is good but I prefer their Reds. Bought at the winery in January 2016 where we were lucky to meet the owner John Buck. — 3 years ago
