Hats off Dom Maxwell. Dark ruby. Tight to start but evolved considerably. Very expressive nose combing umami, undergrowth, and spicy plumb notes. Funk, spice and dark forest fruit, Perfect weight - the transition from mid palate to the finish is seamless. Quite burgundian to my palate. Total harmony. Awesome. — 9 years ago

Tasted in a virtual Master Class with Dom Maxwell. Wine fermented in the vineyard as the name suggests. What could possibly go wrong?! The results are spectacular. There is incredible balance and persistence - Nth Canterbury savoury elements mix perfectly with slightly sweet dark cherry. Not as singular or even age worthy as the Greystone Thomas Brothers, but a more complete and delicious wine. Also better p/q. Very strong buy for any Vosne lovers who don’t drive a Bugatti. — 4 years ago

Lady winemakers during the “Formation” themed month at a Maxwell!! 👯‍♀️💕 Apparently the soil on this vineyard is so sulfuric that it’s lime green. Wild! Crisp and acid but still round and well balanced — 8 years ago
