Enjoyed during Superbowl with homemade pizza. Less green bell pepper than I personally prefer, but nice wine. — 8 months ago
Beautiful bright savoury expression of Cabernet Franc — 9 months ago
Pop and ppur yesterday. Notes from 24 hrs open unrefrigerated on the counter. On the nose: olive brine, cabbage, garrigue, blackberry, vaguely like a (WA/OR) Rocks district syrah. On the palate: lovely acidity, solid density, blackberry, earth, stewed cabbage. The juiciness is intense on the finish, almost overpowering the soft grainy tannin. A gorgeous btl. Yum. — 4 months ago
Lambert’s high end Chardonnay and wow what a wine in 21. Nose is nutty, mineral, green apple and pear. Ouille style so zero ox. So aromatic and focused. Some wood shavings and a hint of spice. Palate is super focused with tons of angles and green apple skins and some flesh but not much. Juicy and incisive. Really long and just the right amount of flesh. Great energy and high acids. So compact and lean but also has a hint of opulence that keeps you wanting one more sip. Very complex and wow this will wake you up in the morning with its intense acidity and minerality. Let’s see what air does. So clean and astonishingly pure.
With some air this got more fleshy, more acidic and more concentrated with a complex clearly defined saline note. Puligny look alike. — 9 months ago

Enjoyed this one with a classic French meal of steak and béarnaise with roasted carrots and dauphinois potatoes. Hints of oak and cherry and red currants. Lots of merlot keeps it soft and supple. One guys comment was “tart cherries peel through the windows in the rain-slicked cobblestone alley.” Quite poetic and really accurate. There is a wet stone quality to this wine that appeals to me. Enjoyed and would drink again. — 2 months ago
