@Tom Casagrande, I always LOVE when you resort to posting “petty” tasting notes, since otherwise I’m always intimidated by your massively detailed, and outstanding, tasting notes (which I prefer, but not trying to be “petty” here)!! 🤷🤷

Just gushing with smoky, roasted dark-herb-inflected, gushy berry fruit on the nose. Quite the rich nose. Intense on the palate as well. Big whack of savory, iodiney flavors competing with dark berry-skin fruit. It’s a bit tannic and bitterish on the finish, which makes it a little less-than-friendly by itself, but should pair nicely in a hour or so with my pasta with broccoli rabe and homemade salciccia. — 21 days ago

Healthier colour , brighter more garnet core slight bricking at the rim . This is a bit more closed and purer red fruit , again with some spice , some slightly earthy notes underneath , but this is younger on the nose . On the palate this is quite sweetly fruited , raspberry , strawberry and red cherry , light saline , mineral notes . This has fresh acidity and lightly grippy tannins . Drinking very well now , with good freshness and a sappy , moreish personality , with good balance . Now and over the next 5-8 years perhaps . Tasted at Hedonism Wines , London . — 9 days ago
