Great blend of bitter and sweet. I typically don’t like too much sweetness but it’s perfect here. Scotch flavor comes through in the aftertaste — 8 years ago
A great pale ale. As they call it, a Mountain Pale Ale. Nice, moderate hops. Not creamy like a W. Coast Pale Ale, but just a perfect blend of a refreshing beverage with satisfying hops. Love this beer. Watch out, it's 6.5%. Headed to Greek Fest soon. Diving into their wines later. — 9 years ago
Last of the HJW sampling. Again a great American example of the varietal. In this wine you really get the "place" aspect of the wine. Less fruity more earthy. Highly recommend the HJW wines to have NY represented in your wine portfolio. Thanks again Oskar for allowing me to crash the party! — 10 years ago
Very solid offering from this great brewery, not the best IPA out there today, but the New Zealand/Australian hops give it something different that many others are doing as well, still west coast in style with that pine and dankest, and the tropical notes come in to play from these newer hops, gives in a fruity, juicy pallet, but still as I said, west coast mainly, pretty good — 11 years ago
This is perhaps the best Sauvignon Blanc I have ever tasted. In fortunately it is almost one of the most expensive (48 Euros / 0.7 l bottle). Still, if I did fancy Sauvignon Blanc this would be a buy. However, I prefer other grapes. Bottom-line, I highly recommend this exceptional wine to those who fancy Sauvignon B. Perfect smell, very balanced with almost optimal flavours. A BIG wine, as promised by the „Opus-Oskar“ seal of the vineyard that is reserved only for the cream of the crop. — 5 years ago

At the top of Mount Mannlichen. It's johannisberg not Fendant. Very nice nose of lemon and citrus. Acidic on palate, balanced and good food wine. Better than version in Zermatt Du Pont. — 8 years ago
Wonderful. Better than MGD. Jesse introduce me to this. — 9 years ago
The standard expression is very good, but the barrel aged version is out of this world amazing. I was only able to get my hands on one can so I won't be able to asses how it ages, but even young it is exceptional. — 9 years ago
